Hi, I’m Chloe Swanson, a writer, artist, and proud local mom originally from the Grosse Pointe area. I created The Pointes Books out of a deep love for this unique community and a desire to capture its timeless beauty through a child’s eyes.

Grosse Pointe has always felt like home to me. From the tree-lined streets and historic architecture to the friendly faces and strong sense of togetherness, there’s something magical about the way neighbors wave, kids ride bikes to the park, and everyone seems to know your name. It’s that spirit I hope to share in each book and illustration.
